Spick and span

Today is another beautiful day. If it weren’t quite so chilly I would almost be tempted to say that Spring had arrived, but the very pink end of my nose is quite certain that we are still in Winter. It wasn’t so cold to drive me indoors though and I spent a little time doing some serious tidying. A pile of pots here, a stack of quarry tiles there. Some sweeping. Some weeding.

Now the garden looks like a lovely place to be again.

Tomorrow: digging.

Another lovely day up in Glasgow too. I wish I was working from home too and could pop in the garden to enjoy the sunshine! But I agree, judging from the heavy frost this morning, it’s not quite spring yet!

Hi Pepette – I know I am very lucky to be working from home, especially as Owen works from home too so we can have lunch together and generally take care of each other a bit. Bloody chilly here today, though. Foggy too. Think I might have jinxed the good weather!
