Here’s hoping we don’t get fed up of them…

Having picked a bumper crop of climbing beans yesterday, there was nothing for it but to trim, blanch and freeze the vast majority of them. There are still plenty more on their way so it’s bean with everything. No bad thing.

PS. First of the Month will return just as soon as it stops raining long enough for me to take the camera outside.

    I don’t mind a glut of beans – at least they freeze easily. I see you are having rain too. What a summer!

    Hi easygardener – True enough about the beans, though I find the topping and tailing a bit tedious! Not much of a summer here now. Rain, rain and more rain. Gah!
