Pulling up potatoes at dusk

After I finished work this evening we both went a-digging. Armed with our wheelbarrow and some potato sacks generously given to me by a friendly greengrocer in King’s Heath I decided to finish pulling up the potatoes.

No naked flames!

We’re (well, I’m) still enjoying the broad beans and tonight we have our first french beans too. Four each of Blauhilde and Neckar Queen, with plenty more on the way. The Neckar Gold are taking their time so none of them just yet.
